My thirteenth birthday

Yesterday was my thirteenth birthday and I wanted to do something
different, something that was focused on God, the home, purity, and being a godly young lady,
so we decided to have a Hope chest party. We invited
mothers and daughters from our church, relatives, and friends.

It started at 11:00 am at our house in Belton and ended around 2:00.

There was a charge given by our dear friend Mrs.Castlebury, a testimony from
Miss Ashley Castlebury and a verse of encouragement from my older brothers Camilo
and Caleb, also a charge from my dear father. Of course, there was plenty of food and some
games.

Here some of the girls are playing an egg cracking game.

Here I am opening the gifts.

I pray that God will help me to continue to grow
in His grace.

This is me but I don't know to whom the hand in the corner
belongs.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the help of all my family.
Thank you so much for the wonderful birthday!!!

Bethany- I thought it was so neat that y'all " wanted to do something
different, something that was focused on God, the home, purity, and being a godly young lady.." What a testimony it was to the girls and their mothers that attended!!
I wish we could've stayed for the opening of the gifts but alas, family called (litterally!).
I'm working on a letter! Don't give up on me yet!

ps. Shiloh was just too cute running around with all the younger ones! I think Caleb has a pretty special dog!
