On Thanksgiving day we arose and ate bagels and doughnuts then slowly but surely started cooking our DELICIOUS Thanksgiving feast.

After a bit something occurred that, to this "southern gal", was quite amazing.
It started to snow!!!In November, on Thanksgiving day, I actually got to see snow!!! It really made the day extra special in my opinion.

APPLE PIE!!!I made up this "recipe" and its really very easy.
Sauteing the apples in butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and a little salt.That's really all there is to it, just pour into an unbaked pie crust and bake till golden.

Our Thanksgiving dinner, which included: Turkey and gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni and Cheese, Spoon Bread, Sweet Potato Casserole, Green Bean Casserole and Rolls.

Ethan and IEverything was sooooo nice and even though it seemed strange not being in my own kitchen, in my own house on Thanksgiving day, I can honestly say that this trip was well worth it.

And how exciting that you were able to see snow! That's not something you are probably used to seeing much of. :)

That pie looks sssssssooooooo delicious!! It's so cool with the apple shape on top. It reminds me of NVIII's ipod. LOL. I hope you had an awesome time in NJ. I miss you and can't wait to see you!

I'm not sure if the pie was good cuz I didn't have any but I sure did have fun making it. The apple made me think of Ipod Apple 2 LOL:) And yes I had a WONDERFUL time. I hope 2 c u soon.
