The last thing in the world I thought I would do was
cut my hair!!!
Haviland and I had been informed at the family gathering on Monday
by my sister-in-law's brother's wife of an organization
called Locks of love where you donate hair to people with cancer and
other illnesses who have lost their hair. It is a non-profit organization
that provides real wigs to people who need them yet can't afford to buy them.
You are supposed to donate at least 10 inches so...snip,snip,snip
went the scissors.
Here are some before and after pictures.

It was a BIG sacrifice but I am glad that someone can enjoy
having hair and Haviland and I know it was the right thing to do.
The photographer was a little jealous so he decided to take quite
a few pictures of himself, I shall limit it to only 1. LOL!!!
We will send of our locks of love as soon as possible.

Seriously though, that was a wonderful thing for you and Haviland to do. I know that your hair will be a blessing to someone else.

Dear Ashley,
No my head doesn't feel any lighter
but it does feel strange to move my head and feel my hair hitting my cheek. Caleb is VERY interesting he has gotten into the habit of taking self portraits so now my camera has lots of pictures of Caleb.
Say hello to all those casseroles for all us francosteins.
